HOW YOUR PLEDGES HELP SUPPORT LITERACY
$50 Provides materials needed to train one literacy volunteer tutor.
$100 Provides children's books for over one year for a low-income family participating
in a literacy program.
$250 Provides vision screening, frames, and correctional lenses for one low-income literacy student.
$500 Covers expenses for one comprehensive tutor training workshop for literacy volunteers.
$1,000 Provides instructional materials for a literacy program or community-based learning center.
$5,000 Supports the Literacy Hotline for six months.

Raise the following amounts in pledges and earn these donated items:
$50 = A Chipotle burrito
$100 = A $10 bookstore certificate
$250 = A $20 bookstore certificate and four movie passes
$500 = A pair of running shoes ($100 value)
$1,000 = Dinner for two ($100 limit) and two tickets to a Broadway San Diego play
$5,000 = A getaway for two at the luxurious La Casa del Zorro in Borrego Springs
